Insert / remove battery

To to insert or remove the battery in your device, follow these steps:


  1. Remove the back cover using the notch located on  the bottom left of the phone.

  3. Insert battery with logo facing up and slide  into place while aligning with gold contacts

  5. Slide the battery into place.

To remove the battery, follow these steps:

  1. Power the phone off.

  3. Remove the back cover using the notch located on  the bottom left of the phone.

  5. Lift the battery out of the compartment using  the notch located by the battery slot.

  7. Remove the battery from the phone.

Battery saving mode

To turn on, turn off, or use battery life saving features on the device, follow these steps:


  1. From any Home  screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Power saving  mode.

Tips to save battery life

To save and extend battery life, follow these steps:


  1. See what features are using your battery:
    1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
    2. Touch Settings.
    3. Touch About phone.
    4. Touch Battery.
    5. Touch Battery use.
    6. You may reduce your usage of the top battery consuming features in order to extend battery life.
  2. Compare the talk time with the device’s specifications to ensure it is not a limitation of the device.
    Note: See What to expect above, because your talk-time and standby time will not be as long.
  3. Install any available updates for applications in the Google Play Store.
  4. If your battery is starting to lose some capacity over time, consider replacing it with a manufacturer approved battery.
  5. Search the device space for documents or known issues about battery life.
