Troubleshoot or learn more about 'disabled by server policy' errors. LG Optimus L9 users who have setup an exchange or active sync email account on their device may receive the error: 'disabled by server policy' message when trying to access the camera, Google Play Store, music, browser, or other applications on the device. This is caused by a security server policy being sent from their company's email server to the Optimus L9, restricting access to applications or features which may be used to shared confidential information received via email.
To fix this issue:
- Contact your company's IT administrator and request changes to the server policy which may allow access to restricted applications.
- Remove the email account, which will delete the server policy and restore full access to the device.
