Back up contacts

To back up your contacts, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Copy contacts.
  4. Tap Phone to SIM.
  5. Tap Select All.
  6. Tap Copy.
    Important: The SIM card will store limited contact information, some details may be lost.
  7. Tap Yes.

 

 

Back up media & pictures

To back up your media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. On the computer when the AutoPlay window appears, click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
    Note: If the AutoPlay window does not appear automatically, check that the USB cable is completely plugged in, or try another USB port.
  3. In the Windows Explorer window that opens, double-click the Phone folder.
  4. Navigate to and select the folder that contains the files you want to transfer.
  5. Copy the media and picture files from your device to a folder on the computer.
  6. When you are done copying, safely disconnect the device from the computer.

  1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Copy contacts.
    Note: At least 1 contact entry must be available to access this menu option.
  4. Tap SIM to Phone.
  5. Tap Select All.
  6. Tap Copy.

 

 

Restore media & pictures

To restore backed up media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. On the computer when the AutoPlay window appears, click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
