Learn how to manage your account privacy and notification settings.

 

 

Marketing communications

 

New T-Mobile app

  1. Open the T-Mobile app and log in using your T-Mobile ID and password.
  2. Tap MORE > Profile settings.
  3. Tap Privacy & Notifications > Marketing Communications.

 

T-Mobile app

  1. Access Privacy & Notifications.
  2. Tap MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS.
  3. Change the following options to ON or OFF:
    • My phone
    • My email address
    • My billing address
    • Receive Monthly T-Mobile newsletter
  4. To change your language preference, tap the menu and select a language.

 

From My T-Mobile

  1. Click Profile Settings > Privacy & Notifications.
  2. Click Advertising & Insights.
  3. Click the following sliders to turn On or Off:
    • Insights
    • Interest-Based Ads
    • Web Browsing & App Information
    • Device Location
  4. To change your language preference, select the menu and then select a language.

 

 

Manage notifications

T-Mobile will always send notifications when you are approaching the talk, text, or data limits on your own line.

 

New T-Mobile app

  1. Open the T-Mobile app and log in using your T-Mobile ID and password.
  2. Tap MORE > Profile settings.
  3. Tap Privacy & Notifications > Notifications.

 

T-Mobile app

  1. Tap Privacy & Notifications > Notifications.
  2. Change the following option to On or Off: Receive alerts when other lines on this account are approaching their talk, text, or data limits.

 

From My T-Mobile

  1. Tap Profile Settings > Privacy & Notifications.
  2. Click Notifications.

 

Manage advertising & insights

 

New T-Mobile app

  1. Open the T-Mobile app and log in using your T-Mobile ID and password.
  2. Tap MORE > Profile settings.
  3. Tap Privacy & Notifications > Advertising & Insights.

 

T-Mobile app

  1. Tap Privacy & Notifications.
  2. Tap ADVERTISING & INSIGHTS.
  3. Tap Edit next to the setting that you want to change:
    • Insights
    • Interest-Based Ads

 

From My T-Mobile

  1. Tap Profile Settings > Privacy & Notifications.
  2. Click Advertising & Insights.
  3. Click the following sliders to turn On or Off:
    • Insights
    • Interest-Based Ads
    • Web Browsing & App Information
    • Device Location

 

 

Opt out from marketing communications

  1. Open the marketing email we sent to your inbox.
  2. Select the unsubscribe option in the email message.
  3. Update your preferences.
