When opening the phonebook on the Nokia X2, you receive the error “Contact service provider for synchronization settings.”

To fix this synchronization error, follow these steps:
- Press Menu.
- Select Settings
- Select Configuration.
- Select Personal Configuration Settings.
- Select Options (may show as “add new” if no APN is configured).
- Select web2go
- Select default.
- Open contacts verifying issue is resolved.
