    App features

    • The T-Mobile Refill app enables you to make one time, or reoccurring payments towards your prepaid account.
    • Refill your account anytime, day or night
    • Review your current balance, due date and other account details
    • View payment and gifting history
    • Sign up for Automatic Refills
    • Send a payment to another T-Mobile PrePaid customer

    How tos

    Initial Setup Process

    For the initial setup process, follow these steps:

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Watch / Click Through the Tutorial
    3. An SMS will be sent to your phone
      Note: Once the SMS is received, proceed to step four. Without this SMS, you cannot move past this step.
    4. Click Set PIN
      Note: The PIN cannot consist of consecutive digits (ex. 4567)
    5. Tap Next
    6. Verify PIN by re-entering it
    7. Tap Next
    8. Change the E-Mail address if desired
      Note: The E-Mail address is auto populated with your Gmail Address
    9. Tap Next

     

     

    Make a one time refill

    To make a one time refill, follow these steps:

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Sing In if not already
    3. Tap Refill
    4. Tap the Default $ Amount
    5. Select the amount you wish to pay
    6. Select your Payment option for your Wallet, OR, enter a new payment method
    7. The Refill Summary Screen will display, recapping the transaction
    8. Check the Terms & Conditions box
    9. Tap Process
    10. The Payment Confirmation Screen will display providing a Conformation (Order) Number
    11. Tap Done

     

     

    Set up & edit automated refills

    To set up and edit automated refills, follow these steps:

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Tap Auto Refill
    3. Select your Frequency
    4. Select your Start Date
      Note: Only dates, 1-28 are available for each month
    5. Tap the Default $ Amount
    6. Select the amount you wish to pay
    7. Select your Payment option for your Wallet, OR, enter a new payment method
    8. The AutoRefill Summary Screen will display, recapping the transaction
    9. Check the Terms & Conditions box
    10. Tap Process
    11. The Auto Refill Enrollment Confirmation Screen will display providing a Conformation (Order) Number
    12. Tap Done

     

     

    Send a refill gift

    To send a refill gift, follow these steps:

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Tap Gift a Payment
    3. Tap the Recipient Field
    4. Enter the Name or Number you wish to send a gift payment to
      Note: A Name entry will only work if the name is in your Contacts List
    5. Tap the Default $ Amount
    6. Select the amount you wish to pay
    7. Select your Payment option for your Wallet, OR, enter a new payment method
    8. The Refill Summary Screen will display, recapping the transaction
    9. Check the Terms & Conditions box
    10. Tap Process
    11. The Payment Confirmation Screen will display providing a Conformation (Order) Number
    12. Tap Done

     

     

    Reset PIN

    To reset a PIN, follow these steps:

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Tap the Menu Button
    3. Tap Reset PIN
    4. An SMS will be sent to your phone
      Note: Once the SMS is received, proceed to step four. Without this SMS, you cannot move past this step.
    5. Click Set PIN
      Note: The PIN cannot consist of consecutive digits (ex. 4567)
    6. Verify PIN by re-entering it
    7. Change the E-Mail address if desired
      Note: The E-Mail address is auto populated with your Gmail Address

     

     

    Change card details (Add/remove a card)

    To change card details, follow these steps:

     

    Note: The Default Card is marked with a Star on the right.

     

    1. Launch T-Mobile Refill
    2. Tap the Menu Button
    3. Tap My Cards.
    4. Select one of the following options:
      • Add a Card:
        1. Tap Add New, then enter all required information
        2. Name as it appears on Card
        3. Card Number
        4. Card Expiry Date
        5. CVV Number (when required)
        6. Billing Address
      • Edit a Card:
        1. Tap the Desired Card
        2. Tap Edit, then update the required information
          Note: Only the last four digits of the card number will appear.
        1. Tap Delete, to delete the Card
        2. Tap Set as Default, to make the card your default payment method
        3. Tap the card again to collapse the edit options.

     

     

     

    Troubleshooting

    To troubleshoot problems with the T-Mobile refill app, follow these steps:

     

    Basic Troubleshooting

    1. Recreate the Issue
      1. Access the T-Mobile Refill app.
      2. Attempt to perform the function that is not working and note any error messages.
      3. Verify the steps taken with How tos listed above.
      4. Attempt to perform another function within T-Mobile Refill and provide you the results.
    2. Test general Web Access
      1. Access web2go.
      2. Access an external web site like www.google.com or www.cnn.com
    3. Restart your phone or close all apps
      1. Remove the battery from the phone.
      2. Replace the battery and restart the phone.
      3. Attempt to use T-Mobile Refill again and to perform the function that previously failed.
    4. If the issue persists, contact us for further troubleshooting.
