Wi-Fi calling: Google Pixel 4

Learn how to set up and use Wi-Fi calling and connection preferences on the Google Pixel 4.

 

 

 

Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and turn on Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

 

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  4. Tap Network & internet > Mobile network > Advanced.
  5. Tap Wi-Fi Calling , then tap the switch to turn Wi-Fi Calling on or off.

 

Set connection preference

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up twice to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & internet > Mobile network > Advanced.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling and make sure Wi-Fi Calling is turned on.
  4. Tap Calling preferences, then choose from the following:
    • Call over Wi-Fi
    • Call over mobile network
