Voice commands: Google Pixel 4

Use these steps to support voice commands on the Google Pixel 4.

 

 

 

Enable voice commands (Ok Google)

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps, then tap Google.
  2. Tap the More icon with three dots, then tap Settings > Google Assistant > Assistant.
  3. Tap your device at the bottom, then tap the switch to turn Google Assistant on or off.

 

Open an app

  1. Say "Ok Google" or squeeze the bottom of your Pixel.
  2. Say "Open (app name)".

 

Voice dial a contact

  1. Say "Ok Google" or squeeze the bottom of your Pixel.
  2. Say " Call (contact name)".

 

Write a text message (SMS) with voice

  1. Say "Ok Google" or squeeze the bottom of your Pixel.
  2. Say "Text (contact name)".
  3. Speak out what you would like to sent in the text. Pause when you are finished, the message will automatically send.
