Share & stream media: Google Pixel 4

Mirror screen on car display

Android Auto mirrors your phone or on your car's display. Your car's system must support Android Auto to use this feature.

 

  1. Use the OEM provided USB cable and connect the device to the vehicle.
  2. Swipe up to view your apps.
  3. Tap Android Auto > Get Started > Accept to continue.
  4. Tap Continue, then allow the app to grant access to your device folders.
  5. Begin using the device through your car's stereo system.

 

Mirror screen on other device

Cast mirrors your phone's display on other compatible devices.

 

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast.
  3. Select from the list of available devices.
  4. To stop casting, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap Disconnect.

 

Turn share on / off

Android Beam reads tags and exchanges content on your phone with other compatible devices or tags.

 

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Connected devices > Connection preferences.
  3. Tap the switch next to NFC to turn it on or off.
