Charge battery

 

How to charge the battery

 

To charge the battery, follow these steps:

 

Note: If the battery level is below 25%, use the AC adapter instead of a car charger or USB cable.

 

  1. Plug the charger into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect the charger to the charger port (sync connector) on the device.

  3. When your device is fully charged, you may remove the charger from the charger port.

How to insert or remove the battery

 

To insert or remove the battery, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your device is turned off.
  2. Hold the device securely with the front facing down.
  3. With your thumb or finger, lift up the bottom of the back cover.

  4. Insert the battery with the gold contacts on the battery aligned with the gold contacts in the battery compartment.

  5. Place the cover back onto the device and snap firmly into place.

 

To remove

 

  1. Make sure your device is turned off.
  2. Hold the device securely with the front facing down.
  3. With your thumb or finger, lift up the bottom of the back cover.

  4. Insert your thumb or finger at the recessed area in the battery compartment to lift and remove the battery.

Liquid damage indicator (LDI)

 

How to find the Liquid Damage Indicator  (LDI)

 

Each T-Mobile phone includes an indicator that shows if it has been subjected to water, thereby voiding the warranty. To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover from your phone. Refer to the following illustrations to read the label:

To view the amount of free and used space on a memory card, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select More.
  4. Scroll to and select More again.
  5. Scroll to and select More again.
  6. Select Device Information.
  7. Scroll to and select Hardware.
  8. Scroll to Storage card memory to view the amount of free and used memory.

  6. Scroll to and select SIM Information to view memory on the SIM card.

To view the memory status (the amount of free memory and used memory), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select More.

  6. Scroll to and select Device Information.
  7. Scroll to and select Hardware.

To free device memory and end running  programs, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Task Manager.
  3. Scroll to the program you want to end.
  4. Select End Task
    Note: You can end all  running programs by selecting Menu, then End all  Tasks.
  5. Select Yes.
