How to send a picture to the Album service

 

Album is an online picture album that stores and shares your pictures, videos, voice messages, and text. To send a picture to the Album service, follow these steps:

 

  1. Press the Camera key.
  2. Frame the subject.
  3. Press the Camera key to take the picture.
  4. Press the Right soft key to send to online Album.

  1. Press the Camera key.
  2. Press the Right soft key to select Options.
  3. Scroll to and select the following settings to adjust:

How to view or access pictures stored on the device

 

To view pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Photo & Video Album.
  3. Scroll to view the available images.

 

Pictures - delete

 

To delete or remove pictures, follow these steps:

 

On the internal memory

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Photo & Video Album.
  3. Scroll to the picture you want to delete.
  4. Select Menu.
  5. Scroll to and select Delete Items.
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Scroll to and select Yes to confirm.

 

On a memory card

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Photo & Video Album.
  3. Select Albums.
  4. Scroll to and select Storage Card.
  5. Select Photos.
  6. Scroll to the picture.
  7. Select Menu.
  8. Scroll to and select Delete Items.
  9. Select Delete.
  10. Scroll to and select Yes.

 

Pictures - take / capture

 

To take a picture, follow these steps:

 

  1. Press the Camera key.
  2. Frame the subject in the view screen.
  3. Press the trackball to take a picture.

 

Note: The image is stored by default to the My Pictures folder in the device memory. If you install a memory card, the memory card becomes the default storage location.

To access the music player, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Windows Media.
  3. Scroll to and select My Music.
  4. Select Play.

Move music from computer to memory card

 

How to move music from a computer to the memory card in the device

 

Use the Sync feature in Windows Media Player on your computer to synchronize (copy) digital media files from your computer to your device. Using Sync ensures that protected files and album art (for skins) are copied to your device correctly.

 

Note: Always use Windows Media Player 11 on your computer to synchronize (copy) files to your device.

 

To move files from a computer to the device memory card, follow these steps:

 

To synchronize content automatically

 

  1. On your computer, open Windows Media Player.
  2. Using a USB cable, connect your device to your computer.
  3. In the Device Setup Wizard on your computer, enter a name for your device.
  4. Click Finish.
  5. On the leftmost pane, right-click your device.
  6. Select Set Up Sync.
  7. On the Device Setup dialog box, select the Sync this device automatically check box.
  8. Select the playlist(s) that you want to sync between the computer and your device.
  9. Click Finish. The files begin synchronizing to your device.

The next time you connect your device to your computer while Windows Media Player is running, synchronization will start automatically.

 

To synchronize and copy content manually

 

  1. Click the Sync tab on the Windows Media Player.
  2. Select a Playlist or a Library on the left panel of the Windows Media Player.
  3. From the content list, drag files you want to sync to your device to the right panel of the Windows Media Player.
  4. Click Start Sync to start copying files to your device.
  5. Drag files from the content list to sync to your device

 

Note: Audio files copy faster if Windows Media Player is configured to automatically set the quality level for audio files copied to your device. For more information, see the Windows Media Player Help.

 

Playlist - create

 

You can create playlists on your computer using Windows Media Player and synchronize them to your device. Your playlists are available in the Library screen under My Playlists on your device.

 

    1. From the Home screen, select Start.
    2. Scroll to and select Windows Media.
    3. Select Menu.
    4. Select Library.
    5. Select All Libraries, My Device, or Storage Card.
    6. Select My Music or My Playlists.

    7. Scroll to the desired music file.
    8. Select Menu.
    9. Select Queue Up. The file is added to the Now Playing list.

      Repeat queuing up music files until you have added all desired files to the Now Playing list.
      Note: You cannot add multiple files simultaneously.
    10. Select Menu.
    11. Select Now Playing.

    14. Enter the playlist name.
    15. Select Done.

Playlist - delete files

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Windows Media.
  3. Select Menu.
  4. Select Library.
  5. Select All Libraries, My Device, or Storage Card.
  6. Select Music or My Playlists.
  7. Scroll to the desired music file.
  8. Select Menu.
  9. Scroll to and select Delete from Library.

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Windows Media.
  3. Select Menu.
  4. Select Library.
  5. Select All Libraries, My Device, or Storage Card.
  6. Scroll to and select My Playlists.
  7. Scroll to the desired playlist.
  8. Select Menu.
  9. Scroll to and select Delete from Library.

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Windows Media.
  3. Select Menu.
  4. Select Library.
  5. Select All Libraries, My Device, or Storage Card.
  6. Scroll to and select My Playlists.
  7. Scroll to the desired playlist.
  8. Select Play.

To view video clips, follow these steps:

 

On the internal memory

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Photo & Video Album.
  3. Select Albums.

  6. Scroll to and select the desired video to view.

    4. Press the trackball to start recording.
    5. Press the trackball again to end recording
