Battery - Charge

 

How to charge the battery

 

To charge the battery, follow these steps:

 

Note: If the battery level is below 25%, use the AC adapter instead of a car charger or USB cable.

  1. Connect the small end of the charger cable to the USB port on the bottom of the device.
  2. Plug the other end of the charger cable into a wall outlet. If using the USB cable, plug the other end into a USB port on a computer.

How to insert or remove the battery

 

To insert or remove the battery, follow these steps:

  1. Push the top of the back cover down toward the base of the device.

  2. Lift the back cover off of the device.
  3. Insert the battery with the gold contacts on the battery facing the gold contacts in the device.

  4. Replace the back cover.
  5. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  6. Click the back cover into place.

  2. Lift the back cover off of the device.
  3. Locate the groove next to the battery.
  4. Insert your fingernail into the groove next to the battery and lift and remove the battery.

  6. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  7. Click the back cover into place.

 

SIM card – Insert / Remove

To insert or remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

  1. Push the top of the back cover down toward the base of the device.

  2. Lift the back cover off the device.
  3. Locate the groove next to the battery.
  4. Use your fingernail to lift and remove the battery from the groove.

  5. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot with the gold contacts facing down and the cut off corner facing out of the slot.

  6. Replace the battery with the gold contacts on the battery facing the gold contacts on the device.
  7. Replace the back cover.
  8. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  9. Click the back cover into place.

 

To remove

 

  1. Push the top of the back cover down toward the base of the device.
  2. Lift the back cover off the device.
  3. Insert your fingernail under the SIM card and lift up gently.
  4. Slide the SIM card from the SIM card holder.

  5. Insert the battery with the gold contacts on the battery facing the gold contacts on the device.

  6. Replace the back cover.
  7. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  8. Click the back cover into place.

Liquid damage indicator (LDI)

 

How to find the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI)

 

Each T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been subjected to water, thereby voiding the warranty. To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover and battery from your device. Refer to the following illustrations to read the label:

 

NOTE: The LDI may have the same general placement yet be located inside the edge of battery recess.

How to set the default memory location

 

To set the default memory location, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, touch and hold the active tab.
  2. Slide left or right to the Photos and Videos tab.
  3. Tap the Camera icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap the on-screen Control Control Icon.png icon.
  5. Tap the Settings Settings Icon.png icon.
  6. Tap Advanced.
  7. Tap the Right arrow to move to the next screen.
  8. Tap Storage.
  9. Tap Main memory or Storage card.
  10. When finished, tap Back to return to the camera application.

 

View phone memory – Phone book

Viewing the phone book memory is not supported

  7. Replace the back cover.
  8. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  9. Click the back cover into place.

 

To remove

  3. Swing open the memory card (microSD) cover.
  4. Push the memory card into the memory card slot until it releases.
  5. Pull the memory card from the slot.
  6. Close the memory card cover.
  7. Replace the back cover.
  8. Push the cover up toward the top of the device.
  9. Click the back cover into place.
