Account Hub ordering

Account Hub is an online self-service portal and account management tool for business customers. Use these steps for help with ordering functions.

 

 

California Prop 65 warning

The state of California passed a law referred to as Proposition 65. The law contains a list of chemicals that the state of California has found to potentially cause cancer and/or reproductive harm. The law requires that any company selling any product that contains one or more of these known chemicals to buyers or people using these products in California be warned in advance of purchase.

 

  • In Account Hub, a Prop 65 warning displays below the Features section on the Product Detail page for all devices and accessories.
  • To view the full warning text, click Learn more in the warning. There's also a link to http://www.p65warning.ca.gov/ in the warning, which opens in a new browser tab when clicked.
  • Although the Prop 65 law only requires customers in California to see the warning, it will display for everyone in any state or US territory who use Account Hub.

 

Shop Catalog

  • Devices are sorted by most popular devices such as Apple, Samsung, LG, and more. You can filter by Manufactures to narrow down the results (multiple options can be selected).
  • All items selected appear in the search string. You can click the "X" next to the selection to remove it or click Clear All to remove all filters.
  • There is an option to click on Sort by Newest to sort the price by Newest, Highest to Lowest, and Lowest to Highest

 

Add a line to an existing BAN

If a suspended account is selected, a message appears alerting you that the account is suspended and shop is only available to active accounts.

 

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Manage Accounts.
  3. From the Manage Lines tab, click the Add a line button for the BAN the line is being added to.
  4. Select Buy a new device or Bring your own device (where you can purchase a SIM card).
  5. If buying a new device, pick a device from the Shop page.
    • Devices can be filtered by categories and manufacturers.
    • SIM cards and accessories can also be selected by clicking on the applicable tabs.
  6. Select to purchase the device with EIP or Full Retail Price.
    • If trying to purchase on EIP and you don't have enough Equipment Credit Available (ECA), an error message appears.
    • You can continue with the transaction by immediately paying for the remainder of the order in full.
    • You can also reduce the order quantity or contact Business Care to inquire about increasing your credit allowance.
  7. Customize the device (color, memory storage, and quantity) if desired.
  8. Select a rate plan from the Plan options section and services from the Additional services section.
  9. In the Device protection section, select a Device Protection feature or decline device protection.
  10. Review the Summary page and click Add to Cart.

 

Upgrade a device

If a suspended account is selected, a message appears alerting you that the account is suspended and shop is only available to active accounts.

 

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Shop and click Upgrades. This takes you to the Select Lines page where you can upgrade one or multiple lines to a device.
    • If you click Back to Shop, a pop-up message appears that says "You are about to leave Upgrades".
    • Clicking Delete selection and return to Shop deletes the order and take you back to the Shop Catalog page.
    • Clicking Complete upgrade or X exits the pop-up message and allows you to continue shopping.
  3. Select the check box next to the line(s) you want to upgrade and click Choose a device.
    • Lines that aren't eligible for upgrade are grayed out and the check box can't be selected.
    • The mobile number, name, current device, and eligibility message display on the Select Lines page.
    • Eligibility messages
      • Line on MI plan: Only phones can be upgraded online. Please contact your account representative for other device upgrades.
      • Line on Classic plan: Upgrades are not available online for this plan. Please contact your account representative for assistance.
      • Line on T-Mobile 1/Simple Choice plan: Eligible for upgrade with financing.
      • Line on T-Mobile 1/Simple Choice plan – EIP balance when balance amount is not retrieved: Eligible for upgrade with financing. New device financing will be added to the balance remaining on your current device.
      • Standard upgrade with existing EIP: Eligible for upgrade with financing. New device financing will be added to your current device balance of $300.
      • Line on BBSC Data: This line has a feature that is not compatible with our latest devices. Please contact your account representative for assistance.
      • Line on JUMP: JUMP! upgrades are not available online. Please contact your account representative to complete your upgrade. JUMP! allows you to trade in your financed device, eliminating any remaining financing balance, when completing a qualifying upgrade.
    • Once lines are selected, a bar appears at the bottom showing the number of lines selected.
  4. Select the desired device on the Choose Device page.
    • You can edit the lines selected in the previous step by clicking Edit at the top next to where it says how many lines you're upgrading. This brings up the Edit Selected Lines page.
      • If you make changes on the Edit Selected Lines page, click Confirm one you're done. If you change your mind about making changes, click Cancel or X to return to the previous page.
      • If you uncheck all lines on the Edit Selected Lines page and click Confirm, you'll be taken back to the Select Lines page.

      • There is an option to sort by Price: Highest to Lowest and Price: Lowest to Highest.
  5. Choose the financing, color, and storage size you want and click Add to Cart. By default, "Financing starts at $XX.XX/month" is selected but "Full Retail Price" can be selected.
  6. Browse accessories available for the chosen device.
    • Accessories are sorted by most popular. You can filter by Manufactures and Categories to narrow down the results (multiple options can be selected).
    • All items selected appear in the search string. You can click the "X" next to the selection to remove it or click Clear All to remove all filters.
  7. Click on an accessory to view the accessory's product detail page. From there, you can select the quantity and Add to Cart.
  8. Now it's time to view your Cart and click Checkout. You can see inventory status for your order, remove the order, or click View details / Hide details for an expanded or collapsed view.
  9. Review your order details on the Checkout page and make any necessary changes.
    • You'll see items details, inventory status (e.g., In Stock, Backorder), and estimated ship date range for your order. To view expanded details, click View Item Details.
    • If you click Back to Cart, you'll be taken back to the Cart page.
    • Shipping & Payment Information section: Enter the shipping address, billing address, shipping method, payment information, and set up AutoPay (not required).
    • Terms & Conditions section: Read the Terms & Conditions, select the EIP Agreement Language, and check the I consent to use electronic records and signatures box.
    • If incorrect information is entered, a red error message displays explaining the error.
  10. Click Submit. The payment information processes and the Order Confirmation page displays.
    • To add device protection, you can call Business Care at 1-800-375-1126 or dial 611 from your T-Mobile device within 14 days of receiving the device.
    • To continue shopping, click Continue shopping to return to Shop Catalog.

 

View order history

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Shop.
  3. From the Order History tab, select an action (export previously placed orders, order again, or view order details).

 

View order status

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Shop.
  3. From the Order History tab, click View order details on the desired order number.
    • You can print the order status or simply view the order information displayed.
    • You can see the order number and status bar indicating if the order has been authorized, shipped, or is pending.
    • If the order has shipped, the tracking number can be clicked on to view the order shipping status.

 

View an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) agreement

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Shop.
  3. From the Order History tab, click View order details on the desired order number.
  4. Click Download agreement under Payment Method.

 

Place a duplicate order

  1. Log into Account Hub.
  2. Go to Shop.
  3. From the Order History tab, click Order again on the desired order number.
