Get started with self-installation

Once you receive your TV equipment, take these easy steps to set it up and start watching.

 

 

 

Before starting, make sure you've got your full equipment order:

 

Your equipment package will include:

  • Set-top box
  • Power supply
  • HDMI cable
  • Ethernet cable
  • Remote control with two AAA batteries

 

If you ordered lite boxes for extra TVs in your home:

You'll receive each lite box in its own package—each includes its own power supply, HDMI cable, and remote with batteries.

 

 

Set up your first TV

Choose a location for your set-top box

Choose a location for your set-top box—it should be close to your router, or an Ethernet port in your wall.

Hook up your HDMI cable

Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI out port on the back of the set-top box, and the other end into an HDMI port on your TV.

Hook up your Ethernet cable

Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the WAN port on the back of the set-top box, and the other end into an Ethernet port on your router or wall.

Hook up your power supply

Plug the power supply into the port on the back of the set-top box, then plug the other end into a power outlet.

Turn your TV on & choose the HDMI input used in step two

Get your remote started

Feed your remote two AAA batteries. To set up your remote, take these steps.

Set up your users & start watching!

Once you see the "Select a user" screen, create your user profiles and enjoy!

 

 

 

Set up any extra TVs

Make sure your set-top box is powered on first

Make sure that your set-top box is powered on before installing any extra lite boxes—the lite box communicates with the set-top box to receive video.

Hook up your HDMI cable

Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI out port on the back of the lite box, and the other end into an HDMI port on your TV.

Hook up your power supply

Just like the set-top box, plug the power supply into the port on the back of the lite box—then, plug the other end into a power outlet.

Turn your TV on & choose the HDMI input used in step two

You'll see loading dots on your TV screen. While the lite box loads, feed your remote two AAA batteries. To set up your remote, take these steps.
