Battery

Battery - Charge

 

If the battery level is below 25%, use the AC adapter instead of a car charger or USB cable.

 

To charge the battery, follow these steps:

 

  1. Insert the small end of the charger into the charging port.

OR

 

  1. Insert the small end of a USB cable into the USB port.
  2. Insert the other end of the USB cable into a USB charger.
  3. Plug the USB charger into a wall outlet.

To insert the battery, follow these steps:

 

  1. Slide the latch on the back of the device to release the back cover.

SIM card

SIM card - Insert

 

To insert the SIM card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Power off the device.
  2. Slide the latch on the back of the device to release the back cover.

  3. There is no need to remove the battery if it is installed.
  4. Hold the SIM card with the gold contacts up. Slide the SIM card (notched end first) into the SIM card slot in the same direction as shown below until you hear it click into place.

To remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Power off the device
  2. Slide the latch on the back of the device to release the back cover.
  3. There is no need to remove the battery if it is installed.

Liquid damage indicator (LDI)

 

Each T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been damaged by water or other liquid, thereby voiding the warranty.

 

To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover and battery from your device.

 

Refer to the following illustrations to read the indicator:

Access files - On card using computer

 

To view files on a memory card from a computer, follow these steps:

 

Set USB default

 

  1. From any Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Tap Help & Settings.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Connectivity.
  5. Tap USB.
  6. Tap Mass storage if not already set as default.

 

Access files

 

  1. Connect the large end of a USB cable to the computer.
  2. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the device.
  3. On a Windows computer, a Removable Disk pop-up will appear.
  4. Select Open folder to view files and click OK to access the card’s files.

  1. On a Mac computer, double-click the new drive icon on the desktop to access the card’s files.

Delete files

  3. On a Windows computer, a Removable Disk pop-up will appear.
  4. Select Open folder to view files and click OK; right-click the desired file and select Delete.

  6. Select one of the following options to set it as the default:
