T-Mobile's FamilyMode lets you manage, monitor, filter and set time limits for your kids’ phones, tablets, gaming consoles, laptops, smart TVs and the other Wi-Fi-connected devices in your home… and it’s just $20 out of pocket for the device and $10/mo for the T-Mobile FamilyMode service.

 

 

What is FamilyMode?

  • You can control data usage, filter web content, check device usage, and receive real-time location information and more for up to 17 (12 Voice, 5 MI) different lines for one monthly subscription fee.

  • Optional FamilyMode Home Base can be purchased for $20, which allows parents to manage devices connected to home Wi-Fi (ex: laptops, game consoles).

Eligibility & compatibility

  • FamilyMode is not eligible to single-line plans. You must have at least two lines.
  • It requires an active, non-past due account.
  • The T-Mobile FamilyMode app is compatible with iPhones running iOS 9.3.4 or later or Android devices running 5 or later and can be managed in or out of the home, whether you’re on a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  • The PAH's device must have a working camera to scan the SPARQ code.
  • Device must be within the continental U.S. Service isn't designed to provide results when roaming outside this area.
  • Not compatible with smartwatches.

 

 

Get the T-Mobile FamilyMode App

Beginning June 29, 2018, sign up for T-Mobile FamilyMode in T-Mobile retail stores, online or by calling 1-800-T-MOBILE. Then, just download the T-Mobile FamilyMode app from the app store on your compatible device. The T-Mobile FamilyMode service is just $10/month for all T-Mobile customers on a qualifying T-Mobile ONE, T-Mobile Essentials or Simple Choice plan, and for business customers with 17 lines or less (12 Voice 5 Mobile Internet).

 

 

Add the T-Mobile FamilyMode Home Base

And adding the Home Base device is simple – pick one up at any T-Mobile store or call 1-800-T-MOBILE (existing customers can dial 611 from their T-Mobile phone). Home Base is yours at a promotional rate of just $20 – a savings of $80 off the suggested retail price for a limited time!
