Change default keyboard

 

Apple keyboard

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.
  2. Tap the desired keyboard to change the software and hardware layouts.

 

Enter symbols & numbers

 

Apple keyboard - QWERTY

  1. Tap the 123 button at the bottom left hand side of the keyboard.
  2. Choose the desired symbol or number.
  3. Tap ABC to return to letter input.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > Keyboard
  2. Tap the sliders to enable or disable for the following:
    • Auto-Capitalization
    • Auto-Correction
    • Check Spelling
    • Enable Caps Lock
    • Predictive
    • Character Preview
    • "." Shortcut

 

Turn on / off haptic (audio) feedback

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds.
  2. Tap the slider to turn Keyboard Clicks on or off
