Indicators

Indicator Lights

Use the following table to understand what status the indicator light is showing:

Liquid damage indicator

Every T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been damaged by water or other liquid, thereby voiding the warranty.

 

To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover from your device.

 

Refer to the following figures to read the indicator:

SIM card

Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card identifies you to the wireless network. You will not be able to connect to the network without your SIM card.

 

 

Insert the SIM card

To insert the SIM card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot as shown.

  3. Replace the back cover.

 

 

Remove the SIM card

To remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Slide the SIM card out of the SIM card slot.
  3. Replace the back cover.

Memory card

Insert the memory card

Your laptop stick supports a microSD memory card (not included with your purchase).

 

To insert the memory card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Insert the memory card into the memory card slot with the golden contacts facing up.

  3. Press the memory card in until it clicks into place.
  4. Replace the back cover.

 

 

Remove the memory card

To remove the memory card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Push in the memory card and release. The card should pop out of the slot.
  3. Replace the back cover.
