When does pre-order begin?

Pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ has officially begun! As of 9:01 PM PT on Thursday, March 1st, you're now able to place your pre-order. You can visit our Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ site to find more galactic details.

 

Where can I pre-order?

You can place your pre-order on T-Mobile.com, MyT-Mobile, the T-Mobile app, at any of our retail locations, or by contacting us!

 

I'm a JUMP/JOD customer, am I eligible to upgrade?

Great question! If you have JUMP!, an active EIP, and meet these requirements, you can pre-order your Samsung device online or through any of our customer service channels. If you have a JUMP! On Demand lease, you can pre-order at a retail store or by Contacting Us if you meet the eligibility guidelines located here!

 

When is launch day?

These amazing additions to the Samsung line-up will officially launch on March 16!

 

What colors will be available?

We'll have the S9 and S9+ available in Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and Midnight Black.

 

 

Shipping

 

Will I get free upgraded shipping during pre-order?

It's almost like you've done this before! Free two day shipping is available for any customer pre-ordering on the T-Mobile app, online through MyT-Mobile, T-Mobile.com, or while adding a new line of service.

 

When will my phone ship if I pre-order?

We'll be shipping pre-ordered devices as soon as inventory is available!

 

Where's my order?

We know you're stoked to hold a new Galaxy in your hands. Once your device has shipped, you'll receive an alert. You can check the status of your order via the T-Mobile App or by going here. You can also get a good sense of our current shipping estimates on our Shipping dates for new devices page!

 

If I order multiple phones, will they ship separately?

Orders with multiple devices will be shipped once all units are in stock. If you'd like to avoid this, we recommend placing individual orders, since availability may vary depending on model and color, and we want you to get your devices as quickly as possible!

Does my new phone come unlocked?

T-Mobile devices are shipped locked to our network, but can be unlocked after meeting certain requirements. If you're looking for a factory unlocked version, we recommend ordering directly from the manufacturer.

 

Are the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ going to be compatible with 4x4 MIMO and 256 QAM?

Absolutely! The new Galaxy devices will offer all the benefits of 4x4 MIMO, 256 QAM, and Carrier Aggregation.

 

Are the new devices going to be compatible with 600 MHz?

You bet! These beautiful phones will be the fastest Samsung devices ever, and support 600 MHz.
