DIGITS: LG V30/V30+

Use these steps to support questions about DIGITS on the LG V30/V30+.

 

 

 

Log in with your T-Mobile ID

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Accounts > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  3. Tap Sign In.
  4. Enter your T-Mobile ID and Password and then tap LOG IN.
  5. If these settings do not show, you must enable DIGITS in the T-Mobile app or on My T-Mobile.

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. Make sure your device is running the latest software and has an active SIM with a connection to T-Mobile over cellular or Wi-Fi.
  2. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  3. If using Tab view, select the General tab.
  4. Tap Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  5. Tap Sign In.
  6. Enter your T-Mobile ID and Password and then tap LOG IN.
  7. If these settings do not show, you must enable DIGITS in the T-Mobile app or on My T-Mobile.

 

Turn DIGITS on and off

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Accounts > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  3. Tap the desired DIGITS to turn on or off.
    • The device's SIM line cannot be turned off.
    • When DIGITS are off, you cannot make or receive calls/message on this device with those DIGITS.
    • Turning DIGITS off does not delete the DIGITS or their data from the device.

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. If using Tab view, select the General tab.
  3. Tap > Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  4. Tap the desired DIGITS to turn on or off.
    • The device's SIM line cannot be turned off.
    • When DIGITS are off, you cannot make or receive calls/message on this device with those DIGITS.
    • Turning DIGITS off does not delete the DIGITS or their data from the device.

 

Customizing your DIGITS

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Accounts > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  3. Tap the more icon on the top right, then tap Edit line settings.
  4. Tap the desired DIGITS edit the following settings:
    • Line name
    • Icon
    • Icon color

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. If using Tab view, select the General tab.
  3. Tap Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  4. Tap the more icon on the top right, then tap Edit line settings.
  5. Tap the desired DIGITS edit the following settings:
    • Line name
    • Icon
    • Icon color

 

Using your DIGITS

  • When making an outbound call, tap the icon in the top left to choose the DIGITS for the call. Incoming calls will show which DIGITS the call is ringing in on.
  • The call log will also show which DIGITS were used to make or receive a call.
  • Voicemail will show all DIGITS by default. Use the icon in the top left to view voicemail for specific DIGITS.
  • When sending a message, tap the DIGITS icon on the left to choose the DIGITS to send the message from. Incoming messages will show which DIGITS the message was sent to.

 

Log out of your T-Mobile ID

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Accounts > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  3. Tap the more icon on the top right, then tap Logout > Yes.
  4. If desired, tap Delete all line data on this device to remove all data and settings for your DIGITS. Deleting date does not impact data related to the native SIM line.

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. If using Tab view, select the General tab.
  3. Tap Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT > Multi-line settings.
  4. Tap the more icon on the top right, then tap Logout > Yes.
  5. If desired, tap Delete all line data on this device to remove all data and settings for your DIGITS. Deleting date does not impact data related to the native SIM line.
