Determine update requirements

Update software versions
Update automatically over the air (OTA) for H93220k
- From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
- If using Tab view, select the General tab.
- Tap About phone > Update Center > System updates > Check for update.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to update the device.
Update from a computer
- Download, install and open the compatible software for the LG Bridge from http://www.lg.com/us/support/software-firmware-drivers to your PC.
- Connect the device using the provided USB cable to the PC.
- On the device drag down the notification panel and tap USB notification > Media device (MTP).
- On the PC, in the LG Bridge app, on the Software update tab, tap Software update > the app will check for an update.
- If an update is available, a message will appear about the update. Click Start to install the update. Do not remove the device from the PC until the update is complete.
Issues after updating
If you experience issues after updating to the latest software version, follow these steps:
- Wipe your cache partition to make sure that all system files on your device are put back in order.
- If wiping the cache partition does not work, you may need to perform a master reset.
