Edit Google sync settings (Android 1.6)

To edit Google sync settings, follow these steps:
  1. From the Application tray, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Sync.
  3. Tap Google.
  4. Under Application Sync, tap the following to enable or disable sync settings:

    • Contacts

          How to use the map with GPS

           

          From the Home screen, touch View Map to display a default 3-D view of your current location. You can change this view by changing the settings for the current usage mode. You can view your trip log, which is the path you have traveled. The trip log appears as a colored line on the map.

          The Vehicle icon allows you to see traffic or do a search of traffic. The speed-limit icon may appear as you travel on major roadways.

           

          To use the map with GPS, follow these steps:

           

          1. From the Home screen, tap View Map.

          2. Perform the following if desired:

          • To view different parts of the map, touch and drag a point on the map.

          Note: As you travel, your phone guides you to your destination with voice prompts, arrows on the map, and directions at the top of the map. If you deviate from the original route, your phone recalculates the route and provides new direction.
