Change default keyboard

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.
  2. Tap the desired keyboard to change the software and hardware layouts.

 

Enter symbols & numbers

  1. Tap the 123 button at the bottom left hand side of the keyboard.
  2. Choose the desired symbol or number.
  3. Tap ABC to return to letter input.

 

Text entry mode

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > Keyboard.
  2. Tap the sliders to enable or disable for the following:
    • Auto-Capitalization
    • Auto-Correction
    • Check Spelling
    • Enable Caps Lock
    • Predictive
    • Smart Punctuation
    • Character Preview
    • "." Shortcut

 

Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
  2. Tap the slider to turn Keyboard Clicks on or off.
