When does pre-order begin?

You can outright order the iPhone 8, 8+, or the iPhone X today!

 

Where can I order?

At this point, all of these awesome new Apple devices have launched! You can easily place an order for the iPhone 8, 8+, or X on the T-Mobile App or MyT-Mobile! Existing customers can reach out using the methods listed here, and new customers can call 1-800-T-MOBILE to get straight to our sales team! For a short time, inventory in our stores will be limited while we fill our priority pre-orders, so place your orders online or with one of our Care or Retail representatives ASAP to get one quickly!

 

I'm a JUMP/JOD customer, am I eligible to upgrade?

Great question! If you have an installment plan and JUMP! and meet these requirements, you can order online or through any of our customer service channels. If you need to place an order using JUMP! On Demand, you can order at a retail store or by calling 611 if you meet the eligibility guidelines located here!

 

When is launch day?

The iPhone 8 and 8+ launched on September 22, and we're happy to announce that the iPhone X launched on November 3!

 

What color and sizes will be available?

The new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray with 64GB and 256GB variants. The iPhone X is available in Silver or Space Gray in 64GB and 256GB memory variants.

 

 

Shipping

 

Will I get free expedited shipping during pre-order?

Heck yes you will! Any pre-orders placed for the iPhone 8 or 8+ prior to 9/21 received free expedited shipping. For orders placed after 9/21, normal shipping charges will apply. iPhone X pre-orders placed on or before 11/2 also received free expedited shipping, and normal shipping charges will apply for orders placed on or after 11/3.

 

Where's my order?

We know you're stoked to have your new Apple device in your hands. Once it has shipped, you'll receive an alert. You can check the status of your order via the MyT-Mobile App or by going here. You can also get a good sense of our current shipping estimates on our Shipping dates for new devices page!

 

If I order multiple phones, will they ship separately?

Orders with multiple devices will be shipped once all units are in stock. If you'd like to avoid this, we recommend placing individual orders as availability may vary  depending on model, color, and/or memory variant, and we want you to get your devices as quickly as possible!

 

 

Additional Q&A

 

Does my new phone come unlocked?

T-Mobile's iPhones come locked to our network, but can be unlocked after meeting certain requirements. If you're looking for an unlocked version, we recommend heading to an Apple retail store.

 

Is the iPhone 8, 8+, or iPhone X going to be compatible with 4x4 MIMO and 256 QAM?

The new iPhones won't be compatible with 4x4 MIMO and 256 QAM, but they do support 3x carrier aggregation.

 

Are the new devices going to be compatible with 600 MHz?

They will not be compatible with 600 MHz -- there is specific hardware required which is not included in these new iPhones. They do offer access to awesome new technologies such as carrier aggregation and extended range LTE.

 

When will I be able to upgrade to iOS 11?

The fancy new OS will be available starting September 19!
