Manage apps: LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus

Use these steps to use/do/support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus.

 

 

 

Clear app cache and data

Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under 'Device,' tap Apps.
  3. Tap the filter to select the following:
    • All apps
    • Enabled
    • Disabled
  4. Tap the desired app, then Storage.
  5. Tap Clear cache or Clear Data then OK.

 

Update apps

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Play Store.
  2. Tap Menu > My Apps.
  3. To keep your apps automatically updated:
    1. Tap Menu > Settings > Auto-update apps.
    2. Tap Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only.
  4. Choose one of the following options:
    • Tap Update all to update all applications with updates available.
    • Tap an individual application and then tap Update to update a single application.

 

Clear recent apps

  1. From any home screen, press the recent apps icon.
  2. To close an individual recent application, swipe the app to the left or right to close it.
  3. To close all recent applications, tap the Clear all icon at bottom of the screen.

 

Uninstall app

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under 'Device,' tap Apps.
  3. Tap the filter to select the following:
    • All apps
    • Enabled
    • Disabled
  4. Tap the desired app.
  5. Tap Uninstall, then OK.
