Learn how to manage calls on the Alcatel GO Flip.

 

 

Call answering mode

By default, your Alcatel GO FLIP will answer pending calls when you open it. To change this setting, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the home screen, press the OK key.
  2. Scroll to Settings and press the OK key.
  3. Scroll to the Personalization tab, then select Answer Mode and press the OK key.
  4. With Flip open to answer selected, press the OK key.
  5. Select the On or Off radio button, then press the OK key.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From the home screen, press the OK button on the keypad.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Under 'Network & Connectivity' tab, scroll to and select Call Settings.
  4. Select Call Forwarding.
  5. Select Always forward.
  6. Enter the number you would like to forward the calls to.
  7. Scroll to and select Always forward.
  8. Select Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From the home screen, press the OK button on the keypad.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Under 'Network & Connectivity' tab, scroll to and select Call Settings.
  4. Select Call Forwarding.
  5. Select from the following:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  6. Enter the number you would like to forward the calls to.
  7. Scroll to and select the following option you chose from above.
  8. Select Enable.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From the home screen, press the OK button on the keypad.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Under 'Network & Connectivity' tab, scroll to and select Call Settings.
  4. Select Call Forwarding.
  5. Select from the following:
    • Always forward
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  6. In the Call Forwarding menu, select the call forwarding option again and select Disable.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the home screen, press the OK button on the keypad.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Under 'Network & Connectivity' tab, scroll to and select Call Settings.
  4. Scroll to and select Caller ID.
  5. Select from the following:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From the home screen, press the green Call button.
  2. Press Options.
  3. Scroll to and select Edit Call log.
  4. Select the calls you wish to delete or press Select All.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Select Delete again to confirm.

 

View call log

  1. From the home screen, press the green Call button.
  2. View the most recent call log details.
