Battery

 

Battery - Charge

 

If the battery level is below 25%, use the AC adapter instead of a car charger or USB cable.

 

To charge the battery, follow these steps:

 

  1. Insert the small end of the charger cable into the USB port on the left edge of the device.

  2. Insert the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet or remove the adapter and insert the cable into a USB port on a computer.

To insert or remove the battery, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the back cover using the notch located on the bottom edge of the phone.

  2. Align the gold contacts on the battery with the gold contacts inside the battery compartment.

  3. Lower the battery into position.

 

Remove

 

  1. Turn off the phone.
  2. Remove the back cover using the notch located on the bottom edge of the phone.
  3. Lift the battery from the compartment using the notch located toward the bottom of the phone.
  4. Remove the battery.

SIM card

Insert

 

  1. Remove the back cover using the notch located on the bottom edge of the phone.

  2. Lift the battery from the compartment using the notch located toward the bottom of the phone.

  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Adjust the SIM card so the gold contact is facing down.
  5. Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot, as shown.

Remove

 

  1. Remove the back cover using the notch located on the bottom edge of the phone.
  2. Lift the battery from the compartment using the notch located toward the bottom of the phone.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Slide the SIM card out of the SIM card slot.

Each T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been subjected to water, thereby voiding the warranty.

 

To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover and battery from your device.

Application Manager

 

The Application Manager shows the free and used memory on the device, and it lets you stop running applications to free up memory. To use the Application Manager, follow these steps:

 

 

Access

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications (Aplicaciones) icon.
  2. Tap Application Manager (Gestor de aplicaciones).

 

 

Change sort view

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications (Aplicaciones) icon.
  2. Tap Application Manager (Gestor de aplicaciones).
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Sort by (Ordenar por).
  5. Select from the following options:
    • Start time (Tiempo de inicio)
    • Name (Nombre)
    • CPU usage (Uso de CPU)
    • RAM usage (Uso de memoria RAM)

 

 

Stop running applications

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications (Aplicaciones) icon.
  2. Tap Application Manager (Gestor de aplicaciones).
  3. Tap the Running applications (Aplicaciones activas) tab, if necessary.
  4. Tap Stop (Detener) next to the application(s) you want to stop or tap Stop all (Detener todo).

 

 

View system memory

 

To view the amount of free memory and used memory, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings (Configuración).
  3. Tap Applications (Aplicaciones).
  4. Tap Manage applications (Administrar aplicaciones).
  5. Tap the All (Todo) tab.
  6. View System memory at the bottom of the screen.

 

 

View system memory - Phone book

 

To view the amount of free memory and used memory in the phone book, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings (Configuración).

Access files - On card using computer

 

To view files on a memory card using a computer, follow these steps:

 

Note: USB storage must be enabled if you want to exchange files between your phone and a computer.

 

  1. Connect a USB cable to the phone, then to a computer.
  2. Tap the Status (Estado) bar and drag down to view the Notifications screen.
  3. Tap USB connected (Conexión USB).
  4. Tap Turn on USB storage (Activar almacenamiento USB).
    • Note: Some applications may stop running or may be unavailable until you change the connection type or disconnect from the computer.
  5. Tap OK (Aceptar).
  6. Your phone is now mounted as a disk drive on the computer.
  7. Proceed with the following steps based on the computer's operating system:

 

Windows

 

  1. In the Removable Disk pop-up window, double-click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  2. Double-click to open the folder on the memory card containing the file(s) you want to access.
  3. When finished, on the computer, close the window showing the phone's disk drive.
  4. On the phone, tap Turn off USB storage (Desactivar almacenamiento USB).
  5. Safely un-mount the phone from the computer by clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon located in the system tray in the lower right-hand corner of the computer's desktop.
  6. Disconnect the USB cable.

 

Macintosh

 

  1. Double-click the virtual drive icon that appears on the desktop or open Finder and click the icon.

  2. Double-click to open the folder containing the file(s) you want to access.
  3. When finished, on the computer, close the window for the phone's disk drive.
  4. On the phone, tap Turn off USB storage (Desactivar almacenamiento USB).

  2. Tap Gallery (Galería).
  3. Locate the file you want to delete.
  4. Tap and hold the file.
  5. Tap Delete (Borrar).
  6. Tap Confirm delete (Confirmar eliminación).

 

 

Insert / remove card
