Wipe cache partition: LG G6

Learn how to wipe the LG G6. If the device is not working correctly, you may need to master reset it and also clear the cache partition.

 

 

Tab view

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap the General tab.
  4. Under 'PHONE MANAGEMENT,' tap Storage.

  5. Under 'DEVICE STORAGE,' tap Internal storage.
  6. Wait for the menu options to finish calculating.
  7. Tap Cached data > CLEAR.
  8. Wait for the cached data to clear; depending on size, it will take several seconds to complete.
  9. When the wipe is complete, the storage screen refreshes and Cached data shows as 0 B. This means your cached data has been successfully cleared.

 

List view

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
