Manage calls: LG G6

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the LG G6.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'GENERAL,' tap Call blocking & Decline with message.
  5. Tap Blocked numbers.
  6. Tap the + plus sign, then tap one of the following:
    • Contacts
    • Call logs
    • New number
  7. Select or enter the desired number(s), then tap DONE.

 

Unblock calls

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Uncer 'GENERAL,' tap Call blocking & Decline with message.
  5. Tap Blocked numbers. A list of blocked numbers displays.
  6. Tap the trash can.
  7. Tap to select the number(s) you wish to unblock.
  8. Tap REMOVE.
  9. Tap REMOVE again to confirm.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

Activate

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED' tap More.
  5. Under 'OTHERS,' tap Call forwarding.
  6. Wait a moment for the settings to load.
  7. Tap Always forward.
  8. Enter phone number to forward calls to.
  9. To select a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
  10. Tap TURN ON.

 

Deactivate

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED' tap More.
  5. Under 'OTHERS,' tap Call forwarding.
  6. Wait a moment for the settings to load.
  7. Tap Always forward.
  8. Tap TURN OFF.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

Activate

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED' tap More.
  5. Under 'OTHERS,' tap Call forwarding.
  6. Wait a moment for the settings to load.
  7. Under 'FORWARD IF,' select from the following:
    • Busy
    • Unanswered
    • Unreachable
  8. If necessary, edit the phone number, then tap UPDATE.
  9. To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
  10. Tap TURN ON.

 

Deactivate

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED' tap More.
  5. Under 'OTHERS,' tap Call forwarding.
  6. Wait a moment for the settings to load.
  7. Under 'FORWARD IF,' select from the following:
    • Busy
    • Unanswered
    • Unreachable
  8. Tap TURN OFF.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Tap Menu > Call Settings.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED' tap More.
  5. Under 'OTHERS,' tap Additional settings.
  6. Wait a moment for the settings to load.
  7. Tap Caller ID, then choose an option:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab. A list of calls appears.
  3. Tap Menu > Clear all.
  4. Tap CLEAR.

 

View call log

  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab. A list of calls appears.
  3. Tap a call to view more details.
