Wi-Fi calling: LG G6

Learn how to set up and use Wi-Fi calling and connection preference on the LG G6.

 

 

 

Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and turn on Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

 

Tab view

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap the Network tab.
  5. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  6. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to the ON position.

 

List view

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to the ON position.

 

Set connection preference

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap the Network tab.
  5. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  6. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to the ON position.
  7. Tap Connection preferences.
  8. Tap desired connection preference:
    • Wi-Fi preferred
    • Cellular network preferred
    • Never use cellular network

 

List view

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to the ON position.
