How the offer works

Trade in your device

Receive a $200 Prepaid MasterCard® Card via mail-in rebate when you meet the following requirements:

  • Activate a new line on T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice Unlimited with an unlimited data feature.
  • Port-in a number from another carrier within 30 days of activation. (Port-in does not apply for Costco customers.)
  • Trade-in a phone or tablet from any carrier.
  • Purchase a device or tablet with EIP (includes Certified Pre-owned devices).
  • Submit for the rebate on www.t-mobile.com/promotions using the code 16PORT (16TRADE for Costco customers) within 30 days of activation. (No rebates are accepted after January 31, 2017.)

If you Bring Your Own Device or get a new one, receive a $10 bill credit for 20 months when you meet the following requirements:

  • Activate a new line on T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice Unlimited with an unlimited data feature.
  • Port-in a number from another carrier within 30 days of activation.
  • Submit for the rebate on www.t-mobile.com/promotions using the code 16BYOD within 30 days of activation. (No rebates are accepted after January 31, 2017.)

If you're trading in a device, make sure of the following:

  • The device is in good working order without physical or liquid damage.
  • You've turned off any activation lock, anti-theft feature, or Find My iPhone feature.
