Use DIGITS on a phone or tablet

DIGITS and 9-1-1 Emergency Services

In limited circumstances, 9-1-1 Emergency Service may not operate as expected with DIGITS.

 

  1. Call or text 911 using your regular T-Mobile phone and primary T-Mobile phone number whenever possible.
  2. Always give the 911 operator your location and the number at which you can be called back and be aware that a callback could be answered by anyone you’re sharing your DIGITS number with.
  3. Consult the DIGITS Terms of Use for more information.

 

 

Requirements

  • An Android device running Lollipop 5.0 or later
  • An iOS device running iOS 9 or later
  • A T-Mobile branded Samsung or LG device with built-in DIGITS

Install the DIGITS app for Android

  1. Make sure that your mobile device has Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later.
  2. Download the DIGITS app from the Google Play Store.
  3. Log in to the DIGITS app with your T-Mobile ID and password.

 

 

Install the DIGITS app for iOS

  1. Make sure that your mobile device has iOS 9 or later.
  2. Download the DIGITS app from the Apple App Store.
  3. Log in to the DIGITS app with your T-Mobile ID and password.

 

 

Unlock built-in DIGITS on T-Mobile branded Samsung and LG phones

DIGITS is built-in to most newer T-Mobile branded Samsung and LG devices. To see if your device supports built-in DIGITS, open the Device page and look for the DIGITS app document. If it's supported, you'll need to unlock the settings with the steps below.

 

  1. Go to mydigits.t-mobile.com on a computer web browser.
  2. Log in using your My T-Mobile ID and password.
  3. Scroll down and click Unlock. A notification appears on the device you unlocked.
  4. Restart the device to complete the process.
