Manage apps: Alcatel ONETOUCH Fierce 4

    Use these steps to use/do/support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the Alcatel ONETOUCH Fierce 4.

     

     

     

    Clear app cache and data

    Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

     

    1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Settings
    3. Under 'Device,' tap Apps.
    4. Tap the desired app.
    5. Tap Storage.
    6. Tap CLEAR CACHE.

    7. Tap CLEAR DATA, then tap OK.

     

    Auto-update apps

    1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Play Store.
    3. Tap the Menu icon (top left).
    4. Tap Settings.
    5. Tap Auto-update apps.
    6. Tap desired auto-update setting:
      • Do not auto-update apps
      • Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply.
      • Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only

     

    Clear recent apps

    1. Tap the Home key (bottom right).
    2. To close an individual app, tap the X or swipe the app left or right.
    3. To close all recent apps, tap the broom icon.

     

    Uninstall app

    1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Under 'Device,' tap Apps.
    4. Tap the desired app.
    5. Tap UNINSTALL.
    6. Tap OK.
