Block and manage calls: ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fierce

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fierce.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap the People app.
  2. Tap on the contact you want to block. You can only block someone if they're in your contacts.
  3. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  4. Tap Block incoming calls to check the setting.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap the People app.
  2. Tap on the contact you want to unbblock.
  3. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  4. Tap Block incoming calls to un-check the setting.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the  Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  3. Tap Settings > Voice call > Call forwarding.
  4. Tap Always forward to enable. By enabling Always forward, the three options below will become grayed out on the device:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward if unanswered
    • Forward if unreachable

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the  Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Voice call.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap the  Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  3. Tap Voice call > Call forwarding.
  4. Tap Always forward to cancel
  5. Tap Disable. By disabling Always forward, the three options below re-appear on the device:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward if unanswered
    • Forward if unreachable

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the Home screen, press the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  3. Tap Settings > Voice call.
  4. Tap Additional settings > Caller ID.
  5. Choose from one of the following options:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the  Phone icon.
  2. Tap Call log at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap the Recent Apps key on the bottom right.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Check the numbers you wish to have deleted. Tap 0 selected to select Select All.
  6. Tap Ok.

 

View call log

  1. From any Home screen, press the Phone icon.
  2. Tap Call log at the top of the screen. You can view call logs for incoming calls, outgoing calls, missed calls.
