Manage calls: Samsung Galaxy Light

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the Samsung Galaxy Light.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject mode.
  6. Select Auto reject numbers.
  7. Tap the Back key.
  8. Tap Auto Reject List.
  9. Tap the + plus sign next to Create .
  10. Enter the number you wish to add to Blocked Calls list.
  11. If desired, choose Match criteria:
    • Exactly the same as
    • Starts with
    • Ends with
    • Includes
  12. Tap Save.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject list.
  6. Tap the trash can icon.
  7. Check the box next number you want to unblock.
  8. Tap Delete.
  9. Tap Delete again to confirm.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Additional Settings.
  5. Tap Call Forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Enter the number you wish to forward all calls to.
  8. Tap Turn on to enable Unconditional Call Forwarding.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Additional Settings.
  5. Tap Call Forwarding.
  6. Select the desired Call Forwarding type:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Enter the number you wish to forward all calls to.
  8. Tap Turn on to enable Conditional Call Forwarding.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Additional Settings.
  5. Tap Call Forwarding
  6. Select the Call Forwarding type that is currently enabled:
    • Always Forward.
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Tap Turn off to disable.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Press the Menu key.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Tap Additional Settings.
  5. Tap Caller ID.
  6. Choose:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Logs tab.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Select all.
  6. Tap Delete
  7. Tap Delete again to confirm.

 

View call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Logs tab.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap View to view the call logs.
  5. Select which presentation to view:
    • All logs
    • All calls
    • Missed calls
    • Dialed calls
    • Received calls
    • Rejected calls
    • All messages
    • Sent messages
