Wi-Fi calling: LG V20

Learn how to set up and use Wi-Fi calling and connection preference on the LG V20.

 

 

 

Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and turn on Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

 

Tab view

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  4. Select the Networks tab.
  5. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  6. Tap the Wi-Fi calling switch to turn on.

 

List view

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  4. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi calling switch to turn on

 

Set connection preference

To set the connection preference for the phone to use Wi-Fi calling or mobile networks, follow these steps:

 

Tab view

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Select the Networks tab.
  3. Under 'WIRELESS NETWORKS,' tap Call.
  4. If necessary, tap the Wi-Fi calling switch to turn on.
  5. Tap Wi-Fi Calling > Connection preferences.
  6. Select desired Wi-Fi calling connection preference:
    • Wi-Fi preferred
    • Cellular network preferred
    • Never use cellular network

 

List view

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
