Keyboard: Google Nexus 6

Learn how to customize text entry and default keyboard settings on the Google Nexus 6.

 

 

 

Change default keyboard

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'Personal' and tap Language & input.
  4. Tap Current Keyboard.
  5. Tap CHOOSE KEYBOARDS, then tap Keyboard to select.
  6. Tap the Back icon, select Current Keyboard again.
  7. Your keyboard selection will appear.
  8. Tap your selected keyboard to change your default keyboard.

 

Enter symbols & numbers

  1. Tap a text entry field.
  2. Tap ?123 to switch to symbols and numbers.
  3. Tap the =\< key for more symbol options.
  4. Tap ABC to switch back to text entry.

 

Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Sound & notification.
  4. Tap Other sounds > Vibrate on touch.
