  1. From the watch face, press the Digital Crown to view the apps list.

Determine update requirements

Customers' devices must meet the following requirements to update their software to the most current version:

  • 50% or higher battery life
  • Data connection
  • 200 MB available memory (File size of update: ~225 MB)

 

 

Update software versions

 

Update automatically over the air (OTA)

Your phone will notify you when it is ready to update. After receiving the OTA notification, follow these steps:

 

  1. On your iPhone, tap the notification to install the software update.
  2. Follow the prompts to install any software updates.

 

Update Manually over the air (OTA)

  1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.

  2. Tap My Watch at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap General > Software Update.

  4. The device checks for software updates and displays the current version if none is available.

  5. Follow the prompts to install any software updates.
