Battery: Samsung Galaxy J7

Learn how to insert and remove the battery on the Samsung Galaxy J7.

 

 

 

Insert

  1. Remove the back cover using the slot on the top left of your device. Lift the cover up and to the right of the device.
  2. Insert the battery into the opening on the back of the device, making sure the connectors align. Gently press down to secure the battery.
  3. Place the back cover onto the back of the device and press down.

Remove

  1. Remove the back cover using the slot on the top left of your device. Lift the cover up and to the right of the device.
  2. Remove the battery from the opening on the back of the device my lifting up from the right corner. Gently pull the battery from the device.

 

Soft reset

A soft reset is a simulated battery removal. This is used to power a device off when the screen is frozen or unresponsive. It does not cause loss of personal data on the device.

 

  1. Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds.
  2. Wait as the device restarts.
