Wi-Fi settings: BlackBerry Classic

Learn how to manage Wi-Fi settings on the BlackBerry Classic.

 

 

 

Delete / forget network

  1. From any Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap Settings > Network Connections > Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap the Saved icon.    .
  4. Tap and hold the network to be deleted.
  5. Tap the Trash can icon and then tap Delete.

 

Scan & connect

Many public Wi-Fi networks require a log in. If prompted about HotSpot log in, tap OK. This launches a Web page to log in to the Wi-Fi provider's network.

  1. From any Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap Settings > Network Connections > Wi-Fi.
  3. If necessary, tap the Wi-Fi switch to turn on.
  4. Tap the desired network and enter the password.
  5. If necessary, tap Advanced to enter any advanced settings information.
  6. Tap Connect.

 

Turn on / off

  1. From any Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn Wi-Fi on or off.
