First-time use: BlackBerry Classic

After turning on your device the first time, you may see a setup wizard to help you set up the BlackBerry Classic.

 

  1. Make sure the SIM card is inserted.
  2. Use the power button to turn on your device.
  3. Choose your language and tap Next.
  4. Agree to the BlackBerry Solution License Agreement.
  5. Tap a Wi-Fi network name to connect to Wi-Fi or tap Skip.
  6. To log into your BlackBerry ID, tap Sign In, enter your email address and password, then tap Sign In.
  7. If you do not have an account, tap Create account, fill in the required information, and tap Sign Up.
  8. Choose to Enable or Disable diagnostic, usage, and location data collection.
  9. Wait for the device to check for software updates. If one is available, tap Update and Continue.
  10. Tap Continue to complete the setup wizard and learn about basic gestures on the device.
