Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the LG G5.
On this page:
Block calls
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call > Decline and reject calls.
- Reject calls from, then + add icon.
- Select one of the following:
- Contacts
- Select the desired contact, then tap Done.
- Call logs
- Select the desired call log entry, then tap Done.
- New number
- Enter the phone number, then tap Save.
- Contacts
Unblock calls
To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call > Decline and reject calls.
- Tap Reject calls from.
- Tap the trash can.
- Select the number(s) you want to unblock.
- Tap DELETE.
- Tap YES.
Call forwarding unconditional
Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call.
- Scroll down to 'INCOMING CALL, then tap Call forwarding.
- Tap Always forward.
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.
- To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
- Tap Turn on.
Call forwarding conditional
Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call.
- Scroll down to 'INCOMING CALL, then tap Call forwarding.
- Under 'FORWARD IF,' select from the following:
- Busy
- Unanswered
- Unreachable
- If necessary, edit the phone number you want to forward calls to.
- To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
- Tap Update.
Cancel call forwarding
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call.
- Scroll down to 'INCOMING CALL,' then tap Call forwarding.
- Tap Always forward.
- Tap Turn off.
Caller ID settings
- Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
- Tap Call > More >Additional settings
- Tap Caller ID, then choose an option:
- Network default
- Hide number
- Show number
Reset call log
- From any home screen, tap Phone.
- Tap Call logs.
- Tap Menu > Clear all.
- Tap Yes.
View call log
- From any home screen, tap Phone.
- Tap Call logs.
- Tap a call to view more details.
