Manage apps: ZTE Avid Plus Z828

Use these steps to use/do/support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the ZTE Avid Plus Z828.

 

 

 

Clear app cache and data

Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap All Apps.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Scroll to the 'DEVICE' heading, then tap Apps.

  4. If necessary, swipe left or right to the appropriate screen:

    • Downloaded
    • Running
    • All
  5. Tap the desired application
  6. Tap Clear data and then tap OK.

  7. Tap Clear cache.

 

Update apps

  1. From any Home screen, tap All Apps.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Scroll to the 'DEVICE' heading, then tap Apps.

  4. If necessary, swipe right to the Downloaded screen.

  5. Tap the desired application.

  6. Tap Uninstall and then tap OK.

 

Clear recent apps

  1. Press and hold the Menu key.

  2. Scroll and select application you want to close.

  3. Swipe left or right to close selected application.

 

Uninstall app

  1. From any Home screen, tap All Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to the 'DEVICE' heading, then tap Apps.
  4. If necessary, swipe right to the Downloaded screen.
  5. Tap the desired application.
  6. Tap Uninstall and then tap OK.
