Block and manage calls: ZTE Obsidian

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the ZTE Obsidian.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.

  2. Tap Contacts.

  3. Tap the name of the contact you want to block.

  4. Tap the Edit (Pencil) icon.

  5. Tap the Menu icon.

  6. Tap to select All calls to Voicemail.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.

  2. Tap Contacts.

  3. Tap the name of the contact you want to block.

  4. Tap the Edit (Pencil) icon.

  5. Tap the Menu icon.

  6. Tap to unselect All calls to Voicemail.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top right.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Calls.
  5. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Enter the phone number to forward your calls to. The number for voicemail forwarding is +18056377249.
  8. Tap Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.

  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top right.

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Tap Calls.

  5. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.

  6. Tap one of the following options to disable:

    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Tap Disable.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top right.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Calls.
  5. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap one of the following options to disable:
    • Always forward
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Tap Disable.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.

  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top right.

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Tap Calls.

  5. Tap Additional settings.

  6. Tap Caller ID.

  7. Tap one of the following:

    • Network default

    • Hide number

    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.

  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top-right.

  3. Tap Call history.

  4. Press the Menu key.

  5. Tap Clear call history.

 

View call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.

  2. Tap the Menu icon in the top-right.

  3. Tap Call history.
