Sync: Samsung Galaxy J7

Use these steps to sync apps on Samsung Galaxy J7.

Android 7.1

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings > Connections.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap the MORE icon.
  5. Tap Restrict background data.
  6. Tap OK

 

Android 6.0

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap the MORE icon.
  5. Tap Restrict background data.
  6. Tap OK

 

Sync apps & accounts

 

Android 7.1

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Cloud and accounts..
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Tap desired account under the 'Accounts'.
  5. To sync all apps and accounts:
    • Tap the MORE icon.
    • Tap Sync all.
  6. To sync select apps and accounts:
    1. Tap your account.
    2. Clear any check boxes you do not want to sync.
    3. Select or leave selected any check boxes you want to sync.
    4. When finished with selections, tap the Menu icon.
    5. Tap Sync now.

 

Android 6.0

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Tap desired account under the 'Accounts'.
  5. To sync all apps and accounts:
    • Tap the MORE icon.
    • Tap Sync all.
  6. To sync select apps and accounts:
    1. Tap your account.
    2. Clear any check boxes you do not want to sync.
    3. Select or leave selected any check boxes you want to sync.
    4. When finished with selections, tap the Menu icon.
    5. Tap Sync now.
