Clear cache / cookies / history

 

Internet

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the MORE icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Tap Privacy.
  6. Tap Delete personal data.
  7. Choose one of the following:
    • Cache
    • Cookies and site data
    • Browsing history
  8. Tap DELETE.

 

Chrome

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Scroll to 'ADVANCED,' then tap Privacy.
  6. In the upper left corner, tap CLEAR BROWSING DATA.
  7. Choose one of the following:
    • Clear the cache
    • Clear cookies, site data
    • Clear browsing history
  8. Tap Clear.

 

Open / close windows

 

Internet - Open a new window

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap New Window to add a window.

 

Internet - Close an existing window

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the Windows icon. It displays the number of open windows.

 

Chrome - Open a new window

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Next to the URL bar, tap the box icon. This icon will have numbers in it, from 1-10.
  4. Tap the Plus sign to add a window.

 

Chrome - Close an existing window

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Next to the URL bar, tap the box icon. This icon will have numbers in it, from 1-10.
  4. Tap the 'X' in the upper right corner of the windows you want to close.

 

Set default storage

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the Settings icon in the top left.
  4. Tap the More icon.
  5. Tap Storage location.
  6. Tap one of the following options:
    • Device
    • Memory card

 

Turn on / off JavaScript

 

Internet

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the MORE icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Tap Advanced.
  6. Move the slider Turn on JavaScript to ON or OFF.

 

Chrome

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Under 'ADVANCED,' tap Content settings.
  6. Select the Enable JavaScript check box.
