Learn how to block, delete and save SMS / MMS messages on the LG Optimus L90.

 

 

 

Block messages or spam

 

From the number

Android 4.4 KitKat

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu button.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Spam message.
  5. Tap Block spam to enable.
    1. Tap Spam words.
    2. Tap on the '+' sign to add specific key words to the spam list.

Or

    1. Tap Spam numbers.
    2. Tap the '+' sign to add specific numbers to the spam list.

Andriod 5.0 Lollipop

 

Spam numbers

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu > Spam manager.
  3. Tap Spam settings > Spam numbers.
  4. Tap  '+' to add a number.
  5. Enter the number you want to block.
  6. Tap Save.

 

Spam words

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu > Spam manager.
  3. Tap Spam settings > Spam words.
  4. Tap  '+' to add a word.
  5. Enter the word you want to block.
  6. Tap Save.

 

Unblock messages

 

From the number

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu button.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Spam message.
  5. Tap Block spam to disable.

 

    1. Tap Spam words.
    2. Tap on the Trash can icon to remove specific key words to the spam list.

Or

    1. Tap Spam numbers.
    2. Tap the Trash can icon to remove specific numbers to the spam list.

Spam numbers

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu > Spam manager.
  3. Tap Spam settings > Spam numbers.
  4. Tap the Trash can.
  5. Select the desired number(s) or tap Select all.
  6. Tap Delete > Yes.

 

Spam words

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu > Spam manager.
  3. Tap Spam settings > Spam words.
  4. Tap the Trash can.
  5. Select the desired number(s) or tap Select all.
  6. Tap Delete > Yes.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Select the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture message.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Yes.

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Select the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the text message.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Yes.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Select the message thread that contains the picture message.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.
  5. If necessary, select the location to save to.
  6. Tap OK.

 

SMS service center number

Note: We're sorry, but you cannot change the service center number. Follow the below steps to view the current number.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu key
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Text message.
  5. View the Service center address.
