First-time use: Samsung Galaxy Tab E

After turning on your device the first time, you may see a setup wizard to help you set up the Samsung Galaxy Tab E .


  1. Make sure the SIM card is inserted.
  2. Tap Start.
  3. If desired, scan for and connect to Wi-Fi, then tap Next.
  4. Agree to the EULA & Diagnostic data terms, select Yes or No thanks to the "error log data" section, then tap Next.
  5. Sign in to your existing Google account, create a new one, or skip.
  6. Make desired Google Services selections, then tap Next.
  7. Enter your name in the This tablet belongs to... section, then tap Next.
  8. Sign in to your your Samsung account, create a new one, or skip.
  9. If you access your Samsung account during setup:
    1. Review the Samsung account terms, then tap Agree.
    2. Make selections for Samsung Backup and restore, then tap Next.
  10. Sign into your existing Dropbox account, create a new one, or skip.
  11. Tap Finish.
  12. Read the System Manager section, then tap Close.
