First-time use: LG G Pad F 8.0

After turning on your device the first time, you may see a setup wizard to help you set up the LG G Pad F 8.0.


  1. Make sure the battery and SIM card are inserted:
  2. Tap English (United States) to change the device language.
  3. Tap Accessibility to adjust accessibility settings.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. If desired, select the Wi-Fi check box to turn on Wi-Fi and select a network.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Perform one of the following actions for Google account:
    • Tap Yes to log in to your Google account. Enter your email address and password, and then tap the Next arrow.
    • Tap No if you do not have a Google account. Tap Get an account then follow the prompts. Otherwise, tap Not now.
  8. If necessary, tap Accept to agree to Google terms.
  9. Select or clear check boxes for the following settings:
    • Back up your tablet's apps. app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords
    • Use Google's location service
    • Help improve location services
    • Help improve your Android experience
  10. Tap Next.
  11. Update the following under Useful settings:
    • Phone name
    • Lost phone contact number
  12. Tap Next.
  13. Follow prompts to set up the Home Screen Button Combination. Otherwise, tap Skip.
  14. Read the Device Data Collection information:
    1. Select or deselect the checkbox as desired.
    2. If necessary, tap Agree, then Next.
  15. Tap Get started to set up QPair. Otherwise, tap the Home icon.
