Block and manage calls: LG Optimus F3Q

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the LG Optimus F3Q.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap System settings > Call > Call reject.
  3. If necessary, tap Call reject mode and then select Reject calls on list.
    If 'Reject calls on list' is already selected, skip to the next step.
  4. Tap Rejection list, then tap the Add icon.
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Contacts: Select the desired contact, and then tap Done.
    • Call logs: Select the desired call log entry, and then tap Done.
    • New number: Enter the phone number, and then tap Save.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap System settings > Call > Call reject > Rejection list.
  3. Tap the Trash can icon and select the number(s) you want to unblock.
  4. Tap Delete > Yes.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap System settings > Call > Call forwarding > Always forward > Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap System settings > Call > Call forwarding.
  3. Under FORWARD IF, select from the following:
    • Busy
    • Unanswered
    • Unreachable
  4. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, then tap Update.
    To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap System settings > Call > Call forwarding > Always forward > Disable.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu key, then tap Additional Settings > Caller ID.
  3. Choose one of the following settings:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab, then tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Clear all > Yes.

 

View call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Call logs tab.
  3. Select a call log entry to view more details.
